Favorite Cell Phone Photos - 2018

I’ve quickly realized after transferring to UCLA that always carrying around my DSLR with me just isn’t feasible anymore. So naturally, I’ve been shooting with my cell phone a ton now, something I used to never do. Here are some of my favorite cell phone snaps this year, and here’s a link to a zine my friend Mateo Mok and I created of just cell phone photos in our drawing class together.

Shooting Film for the First Time

I'm taking a black and white film photography course for the first time this fall quarter. Shooting digital for work and analog for homework has been tough, but I've been happy with a few of my photos (though my success rate for rolling film onto the spool is like, 50%).

Short Film BTS

Earlier in the summer, a friend of mine at Loyola Marymount University asked me to shoot behind-the-scenes photos of the making of his short film which took place around Camas and Vancouver over five late nights in early June, 2017.
